WKU military historian says casualties in Iraq may increase as troops draw down

(wkyu) - Although policy decisions regarding the war in Afghanistan have drawn more headlines recently, it's been a very deadly week for US troops in Iraq. The US military says 13 soldiers were killed in Baghdad in just three days. Dr. Jack Thacker studies military history in the WKU History Department.
