Riverview at Hobson Grove is pleased to present "Victorian Skills For Young Ladies and Gentlemen," a series of workshops for children ages 8 to 12. Nancy Baird, past Kentucky History Specialist of the Kentucky Library at WKU, will lead each of the workshops to be held at the historic house museum. Participants will learn a traditional Victorian hand craft and create a memento to take home. Each of these workshops is limited to a specific number of participants, so reservations are required. $5 each. All tools and materials are provided for each workshop.
Wednesday, November 6 at 3:30pm -- Sock Doll. Each child will learn how to make a stuffed doll out of socks. This is a great recycling project for the child to be able to go home and later make dolls out of all of their orphan socks. Good craft to learn before the holidays.
Reservations are required and class size is limited. For further information, please call Riverview at 843-5565. Riverview is located at 1100 West Main Avenue in Bowling Green's Hobson Grove Park.
