09-23-2009: Mixing Politics and Ice Cream
(2009-09-23)
(WKNO) - Vermont is the home of Ben and Jerry's, and the change in honor of the legalization of gay marriage was only intended to be instituted on one truck visiting five Vermont Ben and Jerry's locations. In this one instance, though, real Ben and Jerry's fans will not change their buying behavior, while people who have never tasted Ben and Jerry's will claim, "I will never buy Ben and Jerry's again." It's amazing how much more tolerant America has become in our lifetimes. Adages being adages, though, in most cases, there's no benefit to mixing politics and business.
