Williams Withdraws Name for Memphis Job
Williams made the announcement in a news conference Friday afternoon.
Williams was identified last week as one of five candidates for the Memphis job. He was scheduled to travel to Memphis on Monday to interview for the position.
Williams said that while he is flattered to have been considered for the Memphis job, he still had a job to do in Buffalo.
"It is time that all of us commit our energy and passion to focus on the future of our children," Williams said.
