The National Weather Service in Paducah says November was among the five wettest Novembers on record. Paducah's total rainfall last month was 10 inches, the third highest. The record was set in 1957 at just under 14 inches. Forecasters at Paducah say there have been a record number of very heavy rainfall events this year. They've seen two or more inches fall in a calendar day eight times this year. Those numbers tie the record set in 1983.
