A strong low pressure system pushing a cold front from the west is forecast to move into our region later today and tonight, bringing with it the possibility of severe thunderstorms, damaging hail, high winds, and isolated tornadoes. McCracken County Emergency Management meteorologist Beau Dodson predicts tornado watches will be issued later this afternoon and tonight for our local counties. A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. A warning means that severe weather is being reported or is about to occur. © Copyright 2013, wkms
