Fort Campbell's burgeoning soldier population is prompting construction for a new elementary school at the military installation. Officials say the $21 million school will be built on base in the Woodlands and Gardner Hills housing area. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the 93,000 square-foot facility is designed to cater to 550 students and is expected to open at the beginning of next year. © Copyright 2013, wkms
