The Federal Emergency Management Agency says it has paid $201 million in reimbursements to public agencies around Kentucky in the wake of last year's ice storm. The storm, caused 36 deaths, knocked out water and electric service to nearly a million homes and covered Kentucky in more than 19 million cubic yards of debrisfrom broken trees and tree limbs. The reimbursements went to the state, district, county and local government agencies, as well as some nonprofit organizations for their ice storm-related costs.
