Kentucky Auto Fatalities Higher in 2012
(2012-02-10)
(wkms) - The rate of fatalities on Kentucky roadways has increased so far in 2012. The Kentucky State Police reports 64 fatalities as of February 9th, five more than at the same time last year. Of this year's deaths, 31 weren't wearing seat belts. Nine died in crashes involving alcohol. Kentucky Office of Highway Safety Director Bill Bell says milder winter weather means more drivers, and more fatalities. © Copyright 2012, wkms
