New Madrid Tremors: Aftershocks of Ancient Quakes?

(kuaf) - A few years ago, seismologists at the Center for Earthquake Research and Information at the University of Memphis increased the odds of a major quake on the New Madrid Fault Zone. Their study was published in the journal, "Nature."
But now a new article just published suggests the New Madrid fault system may be settling down.
