NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday as part of intense U.S. efforts to ease tension between India and Pakistan that has surged over the Mumbai attacks.

Thai PM Somchai's party disbanded

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai judges ordered Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat's ruling People Power Party (PPP) disbanded on Tuesday after it was found guilty of vote fraud, but party members vowed to "move on" and form another government.
