Ford Worries About Auto Suppliers Facing Bankruptcy
MACKINAC ISLAND, MI
(Michigan Radio) -
Ford Motor Company is the only one of Detroit's Big 3 that seems like it will avoid bankruptcy court.
But Board Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr. is worried about the company's suppliers.
Two major auto parts suppliers filed for bankruptcy protection this week.
"It's been our biggest concern all along," says Ford, " And there's no question the Obama administration and the task force understands this is a huge issue."
