(Michigan Radio) -

Ford Motor Company is the only one of Detroit's Big 3 that seems like it will avoid bankruptcy court.

But Board Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr. is worried about the company's suppliers.

Two major auto parts suppliers filed for bankruptcy protection this week.

"It's been our biggest concern all along," says Ford, " And there's no question the Obama administration and the task force understands this is a huge issue."

Ford credits the Obama administration for including the supply base in its efforts to sustain the nation's troubled domestic auto makers.
