The Broad College of Business at Michigan State University is hosting several sessions for students and the public to learn more about career opportunities in the growing field of big data analysis. The event is free and open to anyone who is interested in learning more about educational opportunities and careers in analytics.
The event kicks off at 1 p.m. with an analytics career fair that features approximately 15 leading regional and international companies that employ professionals who manage and interpret data. At 2 p.m., a corporate panel will discuss the various careers and opportunities in big data management and what they are looking for in analytics professionals. At 3 p.m., representatives from the Broad College of Business will talk about the college’s new master of science program in business analytics.
