The 2013 Michigan Japanese Quiz Bowl (MJQB) is a Japanese language competition for K-12 students across the state. MJQB also brings together hundreds of students, teachers, and citizens from across the state of Michigan to celebrate Japanese culture through demonstrations, activities and performances. Running concurrently with the competition rounds will be the Cultural Exposition, where you can try on Japanese kimono, make your own origami (folding paper), swap out old comic books for new ones, and many more activities. Past expo activities have also included learning about archery, Japanese drums, and more!
This is a FREE event and open to the public.
