Businesses Violating Smoking Ban in Lee County
The most recent complaint was filed, over the weekend, against an unknown business.
Emily Carrick with the Lee County Health Department says the name will eventually be made public after she has a chance to meet with those involved in the business.
The other four businesses to receive violation letters are the Nowhere Bar and Grill and Vinnie's Santa Fe Tap in Fort Madison and The Celler and Papa's Bar and Grill in Keokuk.
Carrick says none of the five have received a second violation letter from the state.
She says anyone can file a complaint by dialing a toll-free number or by logging onto a website.
