CHC Expanding Dental Care Clinic
(2008-09-03)
WEST BURLINGTON, IA (wium) - One Southeast Iowa health care provider is ready to expand its dental care service.

CEO Ron Kemp says Community Health Centers of Southeastern Iowa will use a $100,000 federal grant to purchase new equipment.

He says that new equipment will be used to create four new patient care stations at the organization's West Burlington location.

Kemp says a second dentist has also been hired at the West Burlington location.

He says the additional staff and the new equipment could result in even more patients receiving dental care.

Kemp says a long-term goal of Community Health Centers of Southeastern Iowa is to develop a dental clinic in the Keokuk area.

*Additional Information*
- Kemp says roughly 2,500 patients received dental care from CHC last year.
- He says the equipment could be installed, and operational, next week.
