MACOMB, IL (wium) - The International Film Series in Macomb gets underway August 22 & 23 with the family drama "The Namesake." The following week, it's "The Lives Of Others," which won this year's Oscar for Best Foreign Film.

Carmike Cinemas I & II Manager Larry Jarvis says there are a couple "don't miss" films this fall. One is the sci-fi adventure "Sunshine." The other is the movie "Once."

Jarvis says there will also be a couple documentaries. "Sicko" is Michael Moore's movie about America's healthcare system. Jarvis says "Arctic Tale" can be described as a North Pole version of "March of the Penguins," but with polar bears.
