A look back at the top stories and features from the Tri States Public Radio news department from May 2009. The top story was the economy. A bank failed in Macomb. In addition, one of the town's largest employers laid off workers. Reporter Jason Parrott told us about workers who've lost their jobs in southeast Iowa and how they're trying to rejoin the workforce.
