Jason Parrott's guest is Sue Prochazka. She is Director of the Tri-State Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Abuse. They talk about Domestic Violence Awareness Month (which is October) and the challenges her organization faces after significant budget cuts. The Keokuk-based organization experienced a 20% cut from the state. That was offset by federal economic stimulus funds, though those are one-time only monies.
