While the world watches the Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, people may not be aware that the region is home to a growing movement aimed at protecting and preserving our food heritage. 20 years ago, Chef Carlo Petrini started what is know today as the "slow food movement" as a protest against a fast food restaurant opening.
