Hamilton To Build New Senior Center
Mayor Steve Woodruff says the city wants to build a roughly 120' x 50' addition to Hamilton's former ambulance building.
He says the center's current Broadway location just does not work anymore.
The current hospitality and senior center is used as a meal site, a meeting facility and the headquarters for the Hamilton American Legion.
Woodruff says the estimated cost of the new facility is between $100,000 and $150,000.
He says the design details must be finalized before a drawing is put on paper and a solid cost can be developed.
Woodruff says input from those who use the center is encouraged.
