The music from "Gettysburg" and "Star Wars", the words of Thomas Jefferson and Douglas MacArthur, the music of Stephen Foster, and marches of many styles and tempos will be a part of the program.

Special guest performers for the concert will be The River Valley Brass Quintet from Peoria performing Armed Forces Salute, a Stephen Foster Medley, and Five Concord Diversions with the Western Illinois Wind Band. Also joining the WIWB will be local writer and radio personality Bill Knight as narrator for "Thomas Jefferson: A Vision For America and Robert W. Smith's composition "Duty, Honor, Country" featuring the words of Douglas MacArthur. Finale of the program will be Peter Wilhousky's arrangement of "Battle Hymn of the Republic."

The public is encouraged to attend this very special performance by the Western Illinois Wind Band which has been moved to a larger venue after standing room audiences for the last two programs. Certainly, all veterans are encouraged to attend and be honored and everyone will want to be present for the performance of the guest group, The River Valley Brass Quintet.

A free will offering will be taken.
