Keokuk Concert Association Presents: Culver-Stockton College Music Faculty

The Keokuk Concert Association very proudly presents the Culver-Stockton College Music Faculty. This concert is the fourth of the 2013-2014 series, and is partially underwritten by Roquette America and Griffin Wheel/Amsted Industries, Inc.

Enjoy an afternoon of inspiring music as The Culver-Stockton Music Faculty interprets artistic expression at the turning points of time and culture, including works by Russian composer, Dmitri Shostakovich and German composer, Paul Hindemith. The C-SC concert of music from the turn of times will also include solo and chamber works by other 20th century composers, as well as Schubert and Bach.

Faculty performers include professor Trent Hollinger and Derek Boren, saxophone; Drs. Elliot Jones and Anda Zirnitis on piano and harpsichord; Jane Polett, violin; Douglas Reeve, cello; Drs. Thomas Polett, trombone, and Aren VanHousen, trumpet; and Dr. Carol Matheson, soprano.

Memberships for the 2014-2015 concert season, will be available at the theatre prior to the performance. This concert is being offered free of charge to those purchasing 2014-2015 season memberships. Membership to the Keokuk Concert Association is open to the public. A single adult membership subscription is $40. A student subscription is $10, and family subscription is $90. Subscriptions are for admission, not only to the Keokuk Concert Association series, but also to as many as 16 concerts in the neighboring cities of Pekin and Quincy, Illinois, Hannibal, Missouri, Fairfield and Washington, Iowa.
