Kish, a librarian and self-taught artist from Ohio, said he has had a love of "Moby Dick" since childhood. On a whim, he decided to create one illustration per page, per day, of the Melville novel until he completed one drawing for every page of the classic work. During the discussion, Kish will talk about how this project began, where this work has led him and how the journey has changed him. He will also share examples of his favorite images. Kish's discussion is open free to the public and is part of University Libraries' "Art and Self Perception" event series.
