The Burlington Civic Music Association’s 2012-2013 season will provide concertgoers with a diverse offering of eight shows, concluding with one of opera’s premier performers: world-renowned bass-baritone Simon Estes. Since winning a silver medal at Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Competition in 1966, the Centerville, Iowa native has remained a familiar figure on operatic stage with a repertory that has topped 100 roles. He has sung at most of the world's major opera houses and in front of presidents, popes and internationally renowned figures and celebrities.

Besides the season-closing performance by Estes, the 2012-2013 season includes a champion fiddling and step-dancing family, a jazz combo, a violin and piano ensemble, an a cappella vocal band, two musical comedies, and a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin.

The 2012-2013 Burlington Civic Music Association season line-up is:
-The Hunts, Friday, Feb. 22
-The Water Coolers, Tuesday, March 19
-Home Free Vocal Band, Tuesday, April 30
-Simon Estes, Tuesday, May 7

Burlington Civic Music is a subscription series. Season ticket prices are:
-Reserved seating $90
-General seating $80
-Student seating $20
