Raccoons and Bait PIles INTERLOCHEN PUBLIC RADIO (Interlochen Public Radio) - A lot of hunters who would normally be putting out bait piles for deer about now cannot this year. Feeding deer has been banned in the lower peninsula in response to the discovery of Chronic Wasting Disease near Grand Rapids.
