Chronic Wasting Disease INTERLOCHEN PUBLIC RADIO (Interlochen Public Radio) - Key Michigan lawmakers who head Natural Resource committees in the House and the Senate called on the Department of Natural Resources to lift a state-wide ban on baiting and feeding deer. That ban is in place because a deer from a private breeding farm in Kent County tested positive for Chronic Wasting Disease.
