James Gainforth INTERLOCHEN PUBLIC RADIO (Interlochen Public Radio) - A Traverse City man convicted of murder more than 20 years ago should not get a new trial. That's the ruling of the state Court of Appeals, which upholds the 1985 conviction of James Gainforth.
