James Gainforth
(2008-09-18)
(Interlochen Public Radio) - A Traverse City man convicted of murder more than 20 years ago should not get a new trial. That's the ruling of the state Court of Appeals, which upholds the 1985 conviction of James Gainforth. Gainforth claimed his attorney, Michael Haley, failed to properly represent him at his original trial. Interlochen Public Radio's Linda Stephan reports. © Copyright 2009, Interlochen Public Radio
