Chronic Wasting Disease INTERLOCHEN PUBLIC RADIO (Interlochen Public Radio) - Late last month, Chronic Wasting Disease was discovered at a deer ranch in Kent County. It was the first time CWD was found in Michigan. CWD is a fatal neurological disease that affects deer, elk and moose.
