St. Michael's Salvage
INTERLOCHEN PUBLIC RADIO
(Interlochen Public Radio) -
A two room schoolhouse built in Suttons Bay in the late 1800's will live on even though it's been torn down. It's been deconstructed board by board so the lumber can be reused on a property less than two miles away. The bell tower will become a bird observation lookout. And the rest of the timber will frame a writer's studio and a new house.
