Invasive Species
INTERLOCHEN PUBLIC RADIO
(Interlochen Public Radio) -
Michigan's inland lakes share some of the same problems as the Great Lakes, like invasive species. But they also have their own special issues, like toxic algae. And there are continuing battles over what kind of public access to these waters ought to be available. We'll hear from the president of one of the most active lake associations in the state, from Glen Lake. Also a D-N-R official and a water researcher add their voices to a conversation about inland waters.
