Fruit growers across Michigan braced against freezing temperatures in late spring that killed a lot of fruit in the bud. Now what's left of the tart cherry crop has been whipped by summer winds and rains. But, as Interlochen Public Radio's Bob Allen reports, the damage has been fickle.
