Mainstreet America
(2008-07-10)
(Interlochen Public Radio) - Tonight in Munising, the Michigan Natural Resources Commission will be updated on a proposal to build a theme park near Grayling. The developers of Mainstreet America project they can attract 1.8 million visitors every year. Opponents say the whole thing is ludicrous. The state has been asked to sell 1,800 acres of state land for the project. But first the Department of Natural Resources wants to know who's willing to pay for it.
