Living with AIDS: One Girl's Story
(2009-05-13)
(whqr) - All this month, WHQR News is looking at adolescent health. So far, we've been discussing broad topics like teen drinking and drug use.

Now, we're going to get personal as WHQR's Michelle Bliss visits with Maria Rangel, a senior at West Brunswick High School who was born HIV-positive and was diagnosed with AIDS at age 2.

Rangel is 17 and lives with her grandmother after losing both of her parents to AIDS.

Do you have insight or expertise on this topic? Please e-mail us, we'd like to hear from you. news@whqr.org.
