WILMINGTON, NC (whqr) - Allegiant Air is bringing non-stop flights between Wilmington and the Tampa Bay area.

Two flights a week will connect Wilmington to the Tampa Bay area starting November 20th, with introductory fares.

Tampa was on the Wilmington International Airport's destination wish list along with Orlando, where Allegiant Air began flying out of Wilmington last April.

Destinations that remain on the airport's wish list include Washington DC, Boston and Denver.
