The new two-story office building will alleviate overcrowding in the current building. Workers often share office space.
Social Services Director Jamie Orrock says when workers share space, it becomes difficult for some clients to share private information about things like their income.
"It's kind of like, if you went to a doctor's office and a third party's sitting there, you're going to be possibly reluctant to fully disclose everything, because you don't want any more to know who doesn't have to," Orrock says. "And some of our questions are probably more personal than a doctor may ask."
Construction of the sixty-two new offices is scheduled to be completed by November of next year.
