NC Delegates Bonding in Denver
(2008-08-26)
Two delegates celebrate Monday night in Denver
(whqr) - A pair of North Carolina residents spoke Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The two women talked about struggling to make ends meet and grappling with rising health care costs.

Hillary Clinton was the night's headline speaker. And Representative Dan Blue of Wake County says Clinton and Obama delegates in the North Carolina delegation are united.

"You can sense that we've come together as one. I think that we're going to be quite successful in North Carolina and come November."

Of the 134 North Carolina delegates, Blue says two dozen are younger than 35-years-old. He says that's way over the party's goal of one delegate from that age group.
