Residents Fight ABC HQ Expansion

WILMINGTON, NC (whqr) - Residents living near the Alcohol and Beverage Control Commission headquarters on Castle Street in Wilmington will meet Monday evening to see what they can do to stop expansion of the headquarters building.

The ABC Commission has permits to demolish more than a dozen surrounding homes in the historic neighborhood around 17th and Castle Streets.

Historic Wilmington Foundation staff will speak at tonight's meeting.
