Stories From A Hurricane
(2008-08-05)
(whqr) - The Cape Fear region has been hit by some fierce storms over the years, and tonight residents will share their memories at a special forum.

The Cape Fear Museum is hosting the forum to allow residents who weathered hurricanes Fran, Floyd and Hugo to share their stories of destruction and rebuilding.

The stories will be recorded and storied in the museum's collection of oral histories.

Residents who have survived a hurricane while living in the Cape Fear region are encouraged to bring artifacts and photos.

The hurricane forum at the Cape Fear Museum starts at 7 o'clock tonight.
