GI Bill benefits
Under the Webb-Mitchell GI Bill, members of the military who have served on active duty since September 11, 2001, are qualified to receive up to four academic years of education benefits.
Wilson, a democrat, spoke on the Ohio University campus yesterday about the benefits of the bill, which will go into effect on August 1st.
Also yesterday, Wilson announced that Ohio will receive $279 million for clear water projects and $58 million for the Ohio Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.

Sixth District Congressman Charlie Wilson says educational benefits available through a new GI Bill could help jumpstart the economy.
Under the Webb-Mitchell GI Bill, members of the military who have served on active duty since September 11, 2001, are qualified to receive up to four academic years of education benefits.
