Mrs. Rosella Fields Bellamy of Wilmington will speak on her book The Beautiful Black Christian Woman and her Sunday Hat. The Library's Local History Department invites you to come prepared to have your photograph taken for the archives at this event, in your best church hat if you wish. You are further invited to bring photographs of friends and family members to be scanned and added to the library's archives, for the benefit of researchers in the future. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library. No registration is needed for this free event. |
