Brunswick Little Theatre, the first and only non-profit community theatre in Brunswick County, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary by raising funds for continuing in its commitment to providing quality theatre for and by children, offering Let's Play! (a children's workshop for kids 8-12) and Stagestruck Players (our children's theatre for kids 8-18) Such commitment to theatre for and by children takes a great deal of commitment by Brunswick Little Theatre's Board of Directors and its members, as well as a great deal of funding. To attain their goals for the children of the county, Brunswick Little Theatre will hold a fund raiser called March Madness. Be a part of this gala event at the St. James Community Center from 6-10 p.m.on Tuesday, March 19. Participate in the basketball hoops challenge, dine on tailgating fare catered by Rhonda Uhlmann of The Flying Fish Cafe, dance to the music of The Brunswick Big Band, support the organization with silent and live auction items. Wine and beer provided. Tickets are on sale now for $50 per person and may be purchased at The Grape & Ale, Howe Outrageous in Southport's Water Tower District and other volunteers throughout the community.
