A Kent County jury on Friday found Steven Sanger guilty of
attempting to capture or distribute an image of an unclothed
person.
He faces up to 5 years in prison when sentenced Sept. 30.
Sanger had denied the charge. Defense lawyer Dan Watkins told
The Grand Rapids Press, WZZM-TV and WOOD-TV that the verdict was
disappointing.
Sanger was charged in a June 2007 incident, and has been
suspended without pay from Byron Center Public Schools.
