GRANHOLM-SURGERY-RECORDS
(2008-08-08)
(wgvu) - The state health department is
investigating the possible misuse of Governor Granholm's medical
records.
A Lansing hospital disciplined an unspecified number of
employees for looking at Granholm's records.
The 49-year-old Democratic governor underwent emergency surgery
at Sparrow Hospital April 29th to remove an obstruction in her
small intestine.
Hospital officials are declining to say how many employees were
disciplined or fired for violating hospital policy.
