Child Molester Sentenced to Life USA (wgvu) - MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) - A convicted child molester has been
sentenced to life in prison for the 1986 kidnapping and murder of a
13-year-old girl.
Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Mary Chrzanowski
(shra-'NOW-skee) on Thursday sentenced 59-year-old Arthur Nelson
Ream to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
A jury found Ream guilty in June of first-degree murder in the
death of Cindy Zarzycki, who last was seen at a Dairy Queen in the
Detroit suburb of Eastpointe.
Last month, Ream led police to Cindy's burial site.
Ream already is serving a 15-year sentence on a molestation
charge involving a 14-year-old girl.
Ream has maintained his innocence. A message was left Thursday
for defense attorney R. Timothy Kohler.
