Charges Anticipated in Wisconsin/Michigan Shootings
(wgvu) - MARINETTE, Wis. (AP) - Charges could be filed soon in the
shooting rampage on the Wisconsin-Michigan border that left three
teens dead and one man injured.
Marinette County District Attorney Brent DeBord has scheduled a
news conference for Wednesday afternoon.
County Sheriff Jim Kanikula says he talked to DeBord on Tuesday
and was told charges could be filed Wednesday. DeBord has not been
available to comment Wednesday.
Kanikula says he expects at least two charges of first-degree
intentional homicide to be filed against 38-year-old Scott J.
Johnson in the deaths of two teens found on the Wisconsin side of
the Menominee River.
He says he is not sure where charges will be filed regarding
victims found in Michigan.
