DETROIT MAYOR-CRIMINAL CASE
moving Detroit forward, not a prosecutor's threat to amend a
perjury charge in his criminal case.
Kilpatrick says he wants riverfront redevelopment efforts and
other projects completed.
He said he's letting his lawyers handle Wayne County
prosecutor's office claims that text messages from the city's

He and ex-top aide Christine Beatty are charged with perjury and

They're accused of lying about having an intimate relationship

Both deny the charges.
