(wgvu) - President Bush is remembering former press
secretary Tony Snow as a decent, good-natured guy who was committed
to his country and family.
Snow died of colon cancer Saturday at age 53. Bush offered fond
words about Snow yesterday after returning to the White House from
Camp David.
Snow was press secretary from May 2006 until last September.
He was deputy editorial page editor of The Detroit News before
moving to Washington in 1987 to become editorial page editor of The
Washington Times.
Snow also wrote nationally syndicated columns for The Detroit
News and USA Today during much of the Clinton administration.
