Candidates' Travels
(2008-06-17)
(wgvu) - Both leading presidential candidates are cutting
back a bit on the travel today, appearing in the same states they
were in yesterday.
Barack Obama remains in Michigan today, meeting with students in
the city of Taylor, just outside of Detroit.
Last night in Detroit, Obama got a big endorsement as former
Vice President Al Gore made his debut in the 2008 presidential
campaign by backing the Illinois Senator.
John McCain has more fundraisers scheduled around the state of
Texas. He'll also give a speech on energy while in Houston.
Tomorrow he invades Obama's hometown for a fundraiser in
Chicago.
