Cocaine Bus
(2008-06-13)
(wgvu) - Royal Canadian Mounted Police drug
officers say they've arrested three people and seized more than 175
pounds of cocaine in busts in southern Ontario.
Police say a shipment of 101 pounds of cocaine was seized March
29th at the Bluewater Bridge in Sarnia. The bridge over the St.
Clair river connects the Ontario city with Port Huron, Michigan.
That was followed by a 6.6-pound seizure in Toronto on May 27th
and an additional 77 pounds yesterday.
The Mounties say Ontario Provincial Police, Waterloo Regional
Police and Canadian Border Services were involved in the
investigation.
